Robert Werner began practicing immigration law in San Francisco in 1971. His practice is focused on employment visas for businesses, with emphasis on high technology companies, bilingual schools, and the international transfer of executives and managers.

Mr. Werner has been granted the highest Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating for legal ability and ethical standards and is included in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization has certified Mr. Werner to be a Legal Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law continuously since 1990. Designated a Northern California Super Lawyer in the field of Immigration Law, and recognized by his peers to be one of the Top Immigration Attorneys in Northern California, he served as a Commissioner of the California State Bar Immigration and Nationality Advisory Commission from 2007 to 2010.
